Good Maintenance Can Be Effective in The Daily Maintenance Of The Crushing Hammer

For the daily maintenance of the crushing hammer, but did not cause enough attention to the driver, many people often stay in the check whether the bolt is loose, regular butter, check whether the hydraulic oil is abnormal and other levels. In fact, the hammer and excavator, need to be in accordance with the manufacturer's manual for regular inspection, maintenance and maintenance, to ensure that the hammer can be in a working state at any time.


The requirements of different manufacturers are not the same, here we choose Caterpillar as an example, to see what specific requirements manufacturers have for daily maintenance.

 

Start with the most basic lubrication. Butter needs to be whipped every two working hours, or four times a day. For a large hammer, remove the protective plug first. The hammer with two butter nozzles needs 5 to 10 strokes each, and the hammer with only one butter nozzles needs 10 to 15 strokes. Note that most hammers also have a port for an automatic lubrication system.


Loose bolts, oil leaks, damaged parts, defective parts and worn parts
• Check the overall condition of the working tools
• Shake each member
• Check the overall condition of the hydraulic system
• Check the support for loose bolts or missing bolts
• Check the condition of hydraulic lines and joints
• Check the hydraulic flange for proper torque
• Check the drill rod and lower bushing for wear
• Replace any damaged or worn parts before operating the hammer
